Product Description

VERMOX® is indicated for the treatment of gastrointestinal infections caused by one or the combination of Enterobius vermicularis (pinworms), Trichuris trichiura (whipworms), Ascaris lumbricoides (worms), Ancylostoma duodenale (hookworms), Necator americanus (hookworms), Strongyloides stercoralis (hookworms), Strongyloides stercoralis Taenia spp (earthworm, tapeworm). VERMOX® Suspension 100 mg / 5 ml (20 mg / ml), is indicated for the treatment of gastrointestinal infestation by Enterobius vermicularis. It is recommended that the treatment be repeated after 2 and 4 weeks. VERMOX® Suspension 100 mg / 5 ml (20 mg / ml) twice a day, in the morning and at night for 3 consecutive days for the treatment of ascariasis, trichuriasis, necatoriais and mixed infestation in children and adults. For the treatment of taeniasis and strongyloidosis in children, 5 ml suspension (20 mg / ml), twice a day, for 3 consecutive days. In children <1 year, see Precautions for use. For adults it has been suggested to prescribe 10 ml of suspension twice a day, in the morning and at night, for 3 consecutive days to obtain a complete cure. VERMOX® Suspension 600 mg / 10 ml. Single dose, for the treatment of single or mixed gastrointestinal infestation by Enterobius vermicularis (pinworms); Trichuris trichiura (whipworms), Ascaris lumbricoides (roundworms), Ancylostoma duodenale (hookworms), Necator americanus (hookworms). No special procedures are required, such as diet or use of laxatives. In patients living in highly endemic areas, regular treatment with VERMOX® Suspension 600 mg / 10 ml Single dose (3-4 times a year) should significantly reduce the overall burden of parasites and keep it at a good level below the clinical significance.
