Norex Neobes may be prescribed in case of abnormal thyroid function, pituitary gland hormone secretion failure, neuroendocrine obesity. Release and composition forms The active ingredient of the drug is amfepramone hydrochloride. The component is considered an analog of amphetamine, but the compounds have different properties. Amfepramone hydrochloride looks like a white crystalline powder. It tastes bitter and dissolves well both in water and in alcohol. The drug for weight correction is available as tablets for oral administration in two dosages – 50 and 75 mg.
