Product Description

CEPOREX® is a bactericidal cephalosporin antibiotic, which is active against a wide range of Gram positive and Gram negative microorganisms. It is indicated in the treatment of the following diseases, when they are caused by susceptible bacteria: • Respiratory tract infections: Acute and chronic bronchitis and bronchiectasis with infection. • Ear, nose and throat infections: Otitis media, mastoiditis, sinusitis, tonsillitis and pharyngitis. • Urinary tract infections: Acute and chronic pyelonephritis, cystitis, prostatitis and prophylaxis of recurrent urinary tract infections. • Gynecological and obstetric infections. • Skin, soft tissue and bone infections. • Gonorrhea (when penicillin treatment is not possible). • Dental procedures: Treatment of dental infections. As a prophylactic treatment in heart disease patients undergoing dental procedures, as an alternative to penicillin.
