TRAZIDEX UNGENA® is indicated for the treatment of external infections of the eye and its annexes caused by microorganisms susceptible to tobramycin, which is a broad spectrum aminoglycoside antibiotic, effective against gram-positive and gram-negative germs, including Pseudomonas aeruginosa, the most serious pathogen. ocular, and staphylococcus gold, the most common microorganism. It is also effective against microorganisms resistant to gentamicin and other antibiotics, as it is less susceptible to being inactivated by bacterial enzymes.
